# New install using old database

 * I have installed 2.5 in a new directory and want to use an existing mySQL database.
   My attempts to do this have included installing WP in the new directory and changing
   the wp-config.php file to reflect the old data base name and password. However
   I get the message: “Error Establishing Database Connection.” What have I not 
   done correctly? Thanks.
