# new plugin version does not appear

 * I updated my plugin but the new version number does not appear on wordpress.org/
   extend/plugins/wp-banner/
 * I checked my readme.txt with the readme validator and every thing seems to be
   ok.
    So I wonder why my new version number isn’t shown on the pluginpage although
   the download link points to new version?
 * Any ideas?
