# New Plugins Display Shortcode as Text

 * Using theme: Twenty Eleven
 * We have a few plugins installed a long time ago that work fine. However, any 
   new plugins we add are displaying shortcode as text.
 * Have already tried disabling all one one plugin at at a time – no go.
 * Also old plugins work fine on new pages as well as old.
 * Any help is appreciated.

 * Steve thanks – in the main content area of a web page. I’ve tried entering the
   shortcode in both the HTML and TEXT windows – result is the same…

 * If the shortcode is appearing in your output, it means either it doesn’t exist
   or you’re entering it inside another shortcode which itself does not render shortcodes.
 * What particular shortcode is not working and what plugin provides it?

 * There are several, this one is from Easy Textillate:

 * I don’t think GD has anything to do with it.
 * Disable all other plugins and change the theme to twentyseventeen. Does the shortcode
   work in a post all by itself?
