# New post sets wrong path

 * When I create a new blog post in WP, the default permalink points to the wrong
   address. [http://widstrand.com/wordpress/about](http://widstrand.com/wordpress/about)
   
   I can find no way to change it or edit it. Earlier in the evening, I was able
   to edit it, not anymore. Blog posts should be going to /wordpress/ right? Directory/
   about has been deleted. Apparently WP was writing to that folder for some reason.
   This is a new build and I must have created a page incorrectly, no data loss 
   at this early stage.
