@jmuyden,
Have you updated to the last version?
Hi Javier,
Thank you for your reply. Yes I have the latest version installed (1.10.7.4).
What can I do?
Please let me know.
I really need this feature.
Thank you and have a nice day.
@jmuyden,
Have you checked in mail options that checkbox are correctly selected?
Hi Javier,
Yes I have double checked it.
I had this option selected: Send mail when using periodical import?
And this option wasn’t selected: Send mail also to users that are being updated?
That’s why I find it weird. For now both options are unchecked because I don’t want the users to receive an Welcome e-mail (they already have an account).
This options “Send mail when using periodical import?” is only for new users right. Users that are in the CSV but not in the WP user DB?
Thank you.
If I can add here… I just tried importing users via CSV manually. A process that has been really great for us, thank you. But this morning the welcome emails did not go out. I am also unable to send a test email to myself via this plugin. It was working as of Tuesday last week (the last time I used it).
I think there may be an issue in the latest version?
@jmuyden,
If you check only:
Send mail when using periodical import?
And you don’t check:
Send mail also to users that are being updated?
Mails should only be sent to new users, no to users that are being updated.
@amlethae, have you checked the checkboxes?
Hi Javier, my apologies I had not been checking that box — maybe it was checked by default before? It seems to work now though. Thank you for the reply!
@amlethae,
We have improved it to make it easier, so now if you check now, it will “remember” in the future.
Most of people have problems with non wanted mails, so this is the best option.
If you like this plugin, and you think our support is fast and good, please, make a good review or a little donation.
It is really hard to have a good plugin with good support when this is free software.
Hi Javier,
Thanks for the reply.
But why did it send a welcome mail to a user that was already in the WP database.
Can I delete the plugin and reinstall it?
Will that help?
@jmuyden,
Have you read me?
If you check only:
Send mail when using periodical import?
And you donβt check:
Send mail also to users that are being updated?
Mails should only be sent to new users, no to users that are being updated.
This will not send mails to users that are in the database.
Hi Javier,
Yes I have read that.
Just like you said I only have Send mail when using periodical import? checked. The plugin still send the mail to the users that already where in the WP Database and also the new users.
What can be the problem?
Thanks man.
@jmuyden,
There was a bug in the plugin. Now it is solved.
Please update to last version.
And remember π
It is really hard to have a good plugin with good support when this is free software.
