# NextGen Gallery cannot be inserted into post

 * Hello,
    when I post, I want to insert a gallery. I use NextGen Gallery 3.4.7 (
   Lite Version). If I click on the button “Attach NextGen Gallery to Post” in the
   editor, the window “Choose Display” will open. There I can select the layout.
   I select the layout “Basic Thumbnails”. After that I click on the button “Insert
   Gallery” and nothing happens. Normally a window opens here where I can select
   the Gallery. Regards Ingmar

 * Normally this kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with another
   plugin. The best way to determine this is to:
 * 1. Disable all plugins except for NexGEN Gallery.
    2. Repeat the action that 
   is causing the problem
 * If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then
   you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure
   out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by
   one, testing after each until you find the one causing conflict.
