NextGen Gallery, Google PageSpeed, and Cache

    Any gallery, whether NextGEN Gallery or otherwise, will slow down a site. That’s the nature of images. If you’re highly concerned about page speed for gallery pages, I suggest optimizing your images for speed over size or quality. However, that can hurt user experience.

    Just to restate – it’s not the plugin causing your site speed issues. It’s images.
