# Nextgen gallery & multisite – update database

 * Hi everybody,
 * I’m on the way to create my first WP multisite and like to use the Nextgen Gallery.
   Installation is no problem and the plugin works fine on my main site. But when
   I try to use the gallery in a sub site the plugin tells me that I have to update
   my database. So I click on ‘Update database’ and the plugin tells me that the
   update was successfully. But the message appears again and again and again.
 * Does anyone has an idea what I can do?

 * I’ve tagged your post so hopefully Alex sees it.
 * At a guess, you should not use network activation, and instead activate one site
   at a time, but … I don’t know. Sounds like it may not be multisiteable.

 * Hope this works. I was about to migrate myself away from nextgen. Looking for
   something more simplistic if anyone knows of anything and if end users could 
   see it in Spanish the better!
