Nextgen gallery version 2.1.46

I put an image browser into my post and am trying to remove the titles that were imported. I see from back logs that many people are suggesting putting code directly into the imagebrowser.php file. This is not working for me primarily because I do not have this file from the Nextgen download. I do have a nggallery.php file.

Some suggestions I have seen are to look for

<h3><?php echo $image->alttext ?></h3>

and delete it. But, these codes are not present.

Could someone please help me remove titles in the image browser? Thank you!
