# NGINX – Error occurred while converting image

 * Hello, fantastic plugin! My website was initially developed locally before being
   transferred to an NGINX server and configured using [ EasyEngine](https://easyengine.io/).
   
   A total of 227 files are required to be converted online where the new server
   is situated from the 67,000 WebP images that were produced locally.
 * The last lingering warning message has vanished after I changed the configuration
   file according to the NGINX setup instructions. So far, every WebP image that
   has been converted is displaying properly.
    However, I can no longer convert 
   photos from the new server, which is my current issue. Despite having logs enabled,
   no errors are shown or reported. Please assist:` _Failed or skipped file conversion
   attempts: 227_

 * Solved! Permission error. After i give ownership of my www folder to my nginx
   user (as defined in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf), it works!
 * `chown -R www-data:www-data www`
