 * Hi,
 * I am trying to run a back-up before I migrate. However the back-up button is
   missing from the pop-up window?

 * Hi,
 * Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling UpdraftPlus? It may just be your
   install is broken.
 * If that doesn’t help, check the developer tools console (F12 on most browsers).
   Are any errors appearing when the pop-up window appears?

 * Hi Grant,
 * As well as DNutbourne’s advice to see what’s in the developer tools console (
   which is Control-Shift-J on some browsers), also try disabling other plugins –
   it may be that some other plugin is loading code onto the UpdraftPlus settings
   page, and causing that to happen.

 * Hi,
 * Thanks for the replies, I have reinstalled the plug-in and deactivated all other
   plug-ins to no avail?
 * I have run the developer console but must admit, I’m not sure what I should be
   looking for?

 * Hi Grant,
 * Just copy and paste everything in the developer console – i.e. press the ‘clear’
   button to empty it, then reload the UpdraftPlus page, then see what appears after
   that.
 * As well as deactivating plugins, try switching to a default theme (e.g. TwentyFourteen).

 * No errors in the Console either.

 * Hi Nick,
 * Please also see comment 3. It would be interesting also to hear what plugins/
   theme the original poster has installed, to compare.

 * Deactivating the GT3 Page Builder plugin brought back the X in the close out
   square, but not the button. Changing the theme from Diamond to another didn’t
   bring back the button. I upgraded to x.51 too.

 * Thanks. GrantTransition – do you have that plugin too? Or another from the same
   vendor?

 * I’ve got the same problem. It was the theme (I have “Pure”).
 * Just disable it and active other, like Twenty Fifteen: button is back.
    Now you
   can backup, restore and reactivate the original theme.
 * Or you can schedule a backup. It works.

 * Hi,
 * Please do report this to the theme author if you have it – themes shouldn’t be
   trying to style other plugins’ settings pages on the back-end, and ought to only
   be styling front-end pages.
 * Best wishes,
    David
