No feed items found

Hi @finklera,

Can you please check if the feeds imported or not by going to your WP Admin > RSS Aggregator > Feed Items and see if you can find anything there?

We need to confirm first whether the problem you have here is the feeds not importing or they’re imported but the problem is on displaying them.

In that case, we’re going to need some more information before we’ll be able to figure out what’s going on. Please send along the following:

• Some screenshots of your feed source settings and general settings.
• The feed source URLs that are being affected.
• A screenshot of your Cron Events page (you can get it from visiting WP Admin > Tools > Cron Events)

Hopefully, with this information, we can get a better idea of what you’re working with.

Can you please check again if you can see them or, if necessary, re-upload them?

We have also tried to fetch one of your Feed URL (http://feeds.nature.com/nphys/rss/aop?format=xml) and we’re able to import the feed items:

So there should not be a problem with your Feed Source URLs.

Thank you for the screenshots links.

From what we see, you indeed don’t have any problem with your Cron.

Since we’ve come to this, can you please do the following steps:

1. Go to your RSS Aggregator > Debugging and clear your log by hitting the red Clear Log button. If it’s already cleared or you don’t have any content there, you can skip this step.
2. Go to your RSS Aggregator > Settings and please change your Log level threshold to Error and below.
3. Now manually fetch your feeds by hitting the Fetch Items link under the Feed Source title in the Feed Source list.
4. Go to your Debugging Log and see if you can find any error message. If you know what you should do to fix the issue from there, please go ahead. But if you’re not sure, please send the newly generated log to us.
5. You can change the Log level threshold back to Default again.

Hopefully, with this information, we can get a better idea of what you’re facing.

What we can assume from there is that the Feed URL is valid and can be recognized by WP RSS Aggregator but somehow the feed items in the feeds do not get acquired by the plugin on your site.

We don’t know for sure why your site doesn’t get this. But here are some suggestions that we can give to you:

1. First, please make sure that your local server fulfill the SimplePie requirements here. Or you can jump right to here.

2. If you’re sure that your server has all the requirements needed, please try to run the theme/plugins conflict as is explained here and see if the problem persists.
