On my home page I have 4 images linked to other internal pages on my site using the custom URL facility but Yoast says I don’t have any internal links. Is this a bug?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I came on to report the exact same issue.
I use post grids on category pages which contain many links to other posts. I also have post grids in my sidebars for internal linking. None of these show up on Yoast however they do when carrying out an internal link check on sites like those below.

I’m facing the same issue, I’ve internal and external link from my website. But Yoast doesn’t find them…I think it’s because of builders, I personally use “WPBakery” and Yoast can’t find links if they are in “Heading” tool, but find them in “Text bloc” for example. It’s weird I guess it’s a bug but it’s frustrating 🙁 Fix it please !

    Hi @lawriem1

We would like some more information.

    A. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v11.5? If you update, does the issue resolve?

    B. Can you elaborate more on how your images are linked and what is meant by “custom URL facility”? Are you able to take a screenshot? You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.

    C. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    D. What kind of SiteOrigin module are you using to add the images? An image module or some other kind?

    Thanks for replying @pcosta88

    A. I have updated to Yoast SEO v11.5 and still have the same issue.

    B. These screenshots should explain what I mean by Custom Url https://pasteboard.co/Il5uYcw.jpg

    C. All my plugins are up to date

    D. I am using the SiteOrigin Page Builder with their Vantage theme and the image is contained in an Image widget.

Thanks for confirming that you are using a function of a page builder to insert the linked image. Please note that the ability of the Yoast SEO plugin’s analysis scan can sometimes not work correctly if you are using some kind of visual page builder, as they can cause the page’s content to not be accessible to the plugin due to it being created outside the functions of the standard WordPress page editor. We have additional information on this here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/is-the-plugin-compatible-with-xyz-visual-page-builder/

I must thank you for replying but your response is not very helpful.

Rather than pointing us to information links which explain why your plugin doesn’t work properly I think you should fix it or work with the other plugin providers to make sure it does work.

As an aside I am amazed at the large amount of people who have posted their problems here and seem to have a lot of issues with your plugin, which is supposedly recognised as the number one SEO plugin available.
