No longer marks order as completed if using HPOS

Thanks so much for reaching out!

It sounds like after switching to High-Performance Order Storage, the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin has stopped marking orders as completed when you purchase a shipping label (even if the checkbox is selected). I can totally see how that would interrupt your workflow.

When you get a chance, could you check if there are any pending sync orders by heading to:
WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Features:

Also, let’s turn on debugging and logging so we can get a better look under the hood. Here’s how to do that, step-by-step: Enabling Debug Mode in WooCommerce

Once that’s enabled, try updating an order using the checkbox again. If there’s anything going wrong behind the scenes, it should show up in the logs. You can view them by going to: WooCommerce → Status → Logs

It would also be super helpful if you could share your System Status Report, just so we can get a full picture of your setup. You’ll find that in your dashboard by going to: WooCommerce → Status → Get system report → Copy for support
