I have taken over a small shop recently. Initially received all my customers an order confirmation , as well as an email when I shipped their goods . This has suddenly stopped. I dont get any mail notification of new orders myself either . What do I do? Having tested in an away without positive result.

Hope some kind people are able to help πŸ™‚

    Best regards

    Linda

    – I recommend asking in this dedicated support sub-forum for better results so its developers and users can help you with this.
    – Also, so that its developers can be made aware of the issue as well:

    Hi Linda,

Ok so there could be a number of reasons why you are no longer receiving these notification emails.

Are you receiving any emails from your WordPress site (like new user or updates, etc.)?

    Hi Tara,

I just posted this as well: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/severe-email-issue?replies=1#post-7453630

    Hello,

Generally, emails are sent using a php script, which can sometimes be problematic.

If you switch to smtp for sending emails, this may help.

You can use this plugin to activate smtp on your website:
    https://en-ca.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-mail-bank/

Set it up with your smtp setting and run some more tests.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue then post your results here and we can continue to troubleshoot.

    Thanks,

    Hi Jordan,

Tried that but didnt work. When I send a test mail it just quickly state: “Kindly be Patient! We are sending the Test Email!” and then it disapear.

    No emails.

I have copied the smtp setting that I use on my iPhone where it works fine.

Please let me know what else I can do?

    Many thanks in advance

Have today verified all setting with the hosting provider and they state that they dont see any SMTP messages coming from my webshop/WP… they state that the problem should be with WP.

I dont know what to do from here… Any advise is really appriciated..

    Thanks in advance

Possibly an SPF problem. Please post your domain name so we can check.

Please read WordPress emails are sent but not received.

You should verify that claim with an Email Log : https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/postman-smtp/

@jordan_thegenius, PHP Mail is also SMTP (obviously), it’s just set with defaults that the user can not change.

    Hi Jason,

I managed to get a test mail thru postman plugin… Does this mean that all my mail should be working now and use this plugin or is this for test purpose only?

    thanks
    Linda

Your WooCommerce Mail should work. At a minimum, you should see it in Postman’s Email Log. If you don’t, the problem lies with WooCommerce.

Postman worked and WPMail Bank didn’t?

    Hi Jason,

I did also try Easy WP SMTP, which BTW is still active.. should I disable that now?

I did test email and it is working now πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    thanks

    Hi Jason,

sorry for the churn. Easy WP SMTP is disabled…

And thanks you so much for helping out.!!!

    YOU MADE MY DAY.!

    YOU MADE MY DAY.!

    That’s what I like to hear! :-*

FYI.. there is no SPF on your domain which may cause silent rejections at gmail, yahoo, hotmail. My recommendation is to investigate SPF and configure it.

Please consider reviewing my plugin if you love it πŸ˜‰ or if you don’t!
