 * Just downloaded this plugin yesterday and I can get it to work with codes sent
to my email but there is no QR-code or any long code to add to Google Authenticator
at all so I cant use that? All settings are good so I dont know what the problem
is. Latest update of WordPress (today) and the plugin…

 * Hello [@zeerux](https://wordpress.org/support/users/zeerux/),
 * Thank you for trying out our plugin!
 * To better assist you, I’ll need a few clarifications about what you meant by “
   there is no QR.”
    1. Are you referring to the QR code that should appear during the setup of **OTP
via Authenticator app (TOTP) , **correct ?
 * When configuring 2FA, users will be prompted to choose their preferred method(
OTP via email, app, or both), depending on what the admin made available. If
you select **OTP via app**, a QR code should appear — this is what you need to
scan using an app like Google Authenticator or similar.
 * Just to make sure we are on the same page here, let’s try a quick test:
    - log in with an enforced user
    - select **OTP via app** as prefered method
    - after the first wizard page loads, you should be able to see the QR [(see example reference here – this is not a real QR)](https://prnt.sc/tZYflSOmRX2O)
 * Or, you can try reconfiguring your current user 2FA method:
    - Go to the user’s **profile page**
    - Scroll down to **“Change 2FA Settings”**
    - From there, you can re-run the wizard and select **OTP via app**, which should
      show the QR code again.
Are you seeing the QR code after following these tests?
If not, can you send us a screenshot showing what you see? If possible, send
us any relevant errors (browser JS errors collected in the Console tab, or
any PHP errors that you are able to gather – the more, the better!)
 * Also, [here’s our setup guide for this method ](https://melapress.com/support/kb/wp-2fa-configuring-2fa-wordpress-user/)
which might help walk you through the process step-by-step, just to explain how
things are working and what to expect:
 * Let’s start with this, and I’ll be happy to assist further based on what you
   find.
