no restricted page access

I have the latest version of uam on my website.
I use the wp-members plugin for login/registration.
I have setup user groups and assigned them to pages. The problem is, that once logged in a user (with a designated group) can access any page, irrespective of the user group it has been assigned.
Why and how can this be fixed?
