I have hit a snag after I create the survey and save then go to get the shortcode I get the message that I paste below. I also paste the page source code from lines 366 – 381. It would appear, however, that for some reason your survey is not saving. * Basically, the warning that you are seeing indicates that nothing has been saved to the database, If there had been no attempt made to save anything, I wouldn’t be overly concerned and would simply fix it, but since you have tried to save a survey, then something mysterious is happening. * In addition to fixing the warning you are seeing, I’ll do something to try and provide meaningful feedback if a survey fails to save. * Thanks for your patience while I get this sorted! 🙂 * Thread Starter [JanSnowski](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jansnowski/) * (@jansnowski) * [11 years, 11 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/no-shortcode-2/#post-5080724) * Hi Will, Well I have no idea why or how but after your last msg I decided to go back and try again. I will try Jan’s solution of creating the survey again and let you know if that works. But it does look like you have some kind of intermittent bug. Wonder if the browser or OS makes a difference? I’m working in Firefox, latest version, in Windows 8. When I went back to the survey creation interface, I used the same survey name as the one that “didn’t save,” and it said a survey with that name already exists. I opened the “Survey Results” tab, and low and behold, there it was! * It seems that if, after getting the error message, you leave the plug-in interface, your save completes. * This is a REALLY easy-to-use plug-in. I’m new to creating web sites with WordPress– this is just my second site and is much more complex and functional than my first one was. http;//www.watsonvilledrycleaners.com/wdc if you care to have a look.
