Maybe I’m missing something – pods has no dedicated map field type (that’s being worked on plan is to include it with the 2.8 Release-> https://github.com/pods-framework/pods/pull/3634)
If you store the address just as a text (string) or as multiple fields you can use the field connection of the map module that works fine!
I might need a bit more information what/how you try to do it!
Hi Bernhard,
Thank you for the fast reply.
I don’t need pods to have map functionality, beaver builder already has that. All I need is the little + symbol next to the beaver map module to feed a simple text address from the pod to the beaver builder map module.
Exactly the same data is needed for the beaver map module as is needed for a title module I have there, I just have no way to feed it through.
See this screencast to see clearly what I am talking about.

Hi, the field connection is done by BB and it’s present – I did see it in your Video (the little grey + ) right beside the box – before it vanished – maybe due to your spell checker ;)! and it works fine in my tests…

guess I can close that as resolved?
You are a genius and the spell checker has been removed. I would never have put the two together. Thank you for your help.

You’re welcome! The best way to say thanks is to leave a 5 star review at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/pods-beaver-builder-themer-add-on/reviews/ *and* (if you’re feeling especially generous) become a Friend of Pods at https://pods.io/friends-of-pods/
Have a nice day! Fresh eyes always see different thing 😉
