# Node_modules and publishing a theme live

 * Good day everyone,
 * I made my first theme using tailpress which uses node.js. I want to publish my
   theme for testing on a live server. I know about the command ‘npm run dev” but
   can someone tell me what the correct procedure is to publish a node.js based 
   WordPress theme?
 * For example: do I need to include the node_modules directory or the resources
   js and css folders?

 * Had to look this up for myself because curiosity and I do see they have some 
   discussions: [https://github.com/jeffreyvr/tailpress/discussions](https://github.com/jeffreyvr/tailpress/discussions)
 * I think the repo ([https://github.com/jeffreyvr/tailpress](https://github.com/jeffreyvr/tailpress))
   might be a slightly better read for me. I do see that you can run a `npm run 
   production` script that will give you what you need to push to the live site.

 * Well I’m a bit new to npm and I’m trying to enqueue both Flowbite CSS and JS.
   But I will try to follow your advice, thanks!
