noindex?

I have set up the entire website, as shown below

• In WordPress go to Settings>Reading
• Make sure for ‘Search Engine Visibility’ that ‘Discourage search engines from indexing this site’ is NOT checked
• Click ‘Save Changes’

• In WordPress, go to the Edit screen for a page/post
• Scroll down to the Yoast Metabox
• Click on the ‘Advanced’ area
• For ‘Allow search engines to show this Page in search results?’ make sure this is set to ‘Yes’

But google search Console still shows “noindex”, why?

@airpodscasestore We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue on your site.

Regarding your issue, we checked on the page in question here and examined the source code and do see that robots meta tag as being set correctly and to allow indexing of the page (see image here):

<meta name=’robots’ content=’index, follow, max-image-preview:large, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1′ />

In addition, we checked in a Google search here and do see that the page in question is showing in the search results, so does appear to be indexed (see image here).

Sorry for not expressing clearly, this is the data from the google search console. Now there are 135 web pages marked with “noindex”, but the codes of the web pages are all showing “index”.

It’s been a month since this problem, how can I solve it?

Thanks for the screenshots and clarification. I can confirm that https://airpodscasestore.com/product/naruto-b-airpods-case/ isn’t indexed yet though it’s present in the product sitemap. There’s, however no directive in the robots.txt file blocking indexing.

Since your site has been added in the Google Search Console, can you let us know the reason stated for Google not indexing the URL?

A friend also encountered this problem before. He just uninstalled the YOAST SEO plug-in and reinstalled the latest version of the plug-in. However, the SEO of all my webpage data is set with the YOAST plug-in. If I reinstall the plug-in , all data from my site is gone.

Can the staff with Yoast seo plugin solve it?

It’s been a day since the last forum post and no replies, anyone?

If you uninstall and re-install the Yoast SEO plugin, your existing SEO settings arent lost unless you drop the database tables where your data is stored.

Your website is added to the Google Search Console. Request reindexing for those URLs by following the steps in this guide: https://yoast.com/help/fetch-as-googlebot/.

If there are errors/reasons stated why the URLs aren’t indexed, do share them with us.
