The new blog post being created should have a unique featured image set, and it will get sent out using RSS. It will not send out the same post repeatedly…
This plugin only works with featured images.
You could look at using something like this:
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/default-thumbnail-plus/
but it doesn’t handle RSS feeds.
Ah, try this plugin instead?

The second plugin I have actually tried, and it does what I need.
The problem is that if I activate it, it’s giving me problems with my website.
Something happens that when I “save” a page, it sends me to a blank page.
Yet that isn’t nothing having to do with your plugin, so please feel free to close this as Solved!

Hmm, that’s not good, perhaps there’s a way to fix the plugin code. Maybe I can add some of it’s functionality into mine as well.

The RSS Image Feed plugin, although excellent reviews, well.. the author’s website is not resolving.
It seems it dropped off the face of the Earth about 1 month ago.
