Noob Setup Quesiton

Have a fresh WP install with GP and Elementor. When it comes to setting global colours, fonts, etc one can do this in either the GP customisation options or in Elementor’s options. Having two places to do the same thing seems redundant and confusing. Which is the preferred, ideal, or better way of doing an initial setup? For the record, I will be creating my site entirely with Elementor.

I find the same thing with Elementor and WP Rocket. Both provide the means to add custom fonts (and soon GP will too). Am I the only one who finds this overlap confusing? Considering we are all trying to optimise our sites for speed and efficiency, it’s challenging to know which is the best way to go about setting things up.
