# Noobie question re Inline Posts plugin

 * Hi there – a noobie to WordPress here, so bare with me if this is a silly question.
 * I’m trying to divide my posts up so that they show on different pages. Am I right
   in thinking that the only way I can do this is to use the Inline Post plugin?
 * The only way I can see of doing this is to update my Page (with a capital ‘P’)
   is to insert the post ID into my Page each time I wanted it updated … which doesn’t
   seem very dynamic and kind of undermines the flexibility of WordPress.
 * I’m just wondering whether I’m trying to make my blog too much like a website.
   Is there a more dynamic way I can update my pages?

   so that they show on different pages._ What is that “pages”? Or did you mean 
   [Pages](http://codex.wordpress.org/Pages). If the latter – forget it.
 * Try to explain WHAT do you want to achieve… leave the HOW to us.

 * Thanks for the reply Moshu – as you can probably guess I’m very much new to the
   whole idea of blogging.
 * Anyway, it might help to have a look at the site. You can see it at [ClickforChips.com](http://www.clicksforchips.com)
 * Ideally it would be nice to have the “Home”, “Link” and “Contact” options linking
   to static pages. I’ve got a grip on how I’d do that.
 * It gets a little bit trickier when I’d like to have the “News” and “Site Update”
   links as effectively two different blogs: so posts that I could write and then
   place in either of the two catogries so that they’d show up in chronoligical 
   order in the relevant section.
 * I don’t know if that’s possible though – I may well be trying to make my blog
   too much like a website. After all, I’ve got a feeling what I’ve described above
   is what the “cateogry” option is for …

 * The only thing that confuses me:

 * WP does NOT have multiple blogs feature. If you meant categories… then it’s easier
   than you thought.

 * Ok, let me put it another way. Is it possible to have a static page on your home
   page and then ‘re-direct’ all your blog entries to another page?

 * I am a bit reluctant to answer questions that could have been avoided studying
   your own admin panel in WP!
    admin > Options > Reading.
