 * I have the free version of admin columns and am using it with LearnDash. On the
courses screen, I am trying to add a “Course Categories” column (not to be confused
with a WP category). I don’t have very many columns on that page…I even eliminated
most of them just to try to get this to work and it WON’T show up. What am I
doing wrong? This plugin works great everywhere else so far.

 * You could try to use our Taxonomy column and see if the ‘Course Categories’ taxonomy
is available on the list. If Course Categorie is a taxonomy that is related to
a course, I expect that it will work.

 * That worked! Thank you!

 * That’s not a perfect fix, though, since the reason I wanted this column was to
enable me to sort by course category…and while I still can, it means I have to
find a course with that category first, instead of just finding it in the dropdown…
because that dropdown doesn’t work right now. I have to find the category in
the taxonomy column and if the category I am looking for is not on the first
page (or even subsequent…) I will have to search for a course I know is in that
category and THEN click on that category in the taxonomy column to sort out all
the other courses and only see the courses in that category.
 * It works, but it’s extra work. So I guess, it will do for now, but is there any
chance that this might eventually work properly in the future, or am I just doomed
to have to use a workaround?

 * I’m not really sure what you’re trying to accomplish.
    Please notice that the
free version does not support sorting, so I’m not sure what you say you can do
it. I kind of suspect that you’re trying to filter instead of sorting. Because
when clicking on a term in the list will bring you to a filtered overview. Filtering
is also not part of the free version but it is supported in the pro.
