Not Caching – CPU at 50% Utilization

    Our website has had the Contextual Posts Plugin activated for over 5 days now, and we increased the database size from a 2 to a 16 to accommodate. Even so, it’s still running at 50% CPU utilization with the plugin and the same queries keep running over and over. It’s like it’s not caching. We are only checking the last 60 days of posts for the list tuning, and the Cache HTML Output option is checked. What else can we do?

    Can you check the queries being generated – the cache HTML is the most aggressive process and after the first load, the entire output is loaded from the cache.

    You can trace this using a plugin like Query Monitor.
