• I have a form on my website to collect email and phone. But when somebody submits it the form sends me an email with the predefined message but there are not the details about the person who filled the form. I don’t see the phone and email anywhere. Is there some page in WordPress where can I see all submitted messages and how to fix this issue that whenever somebody submits the form the mail sends me only the predefined text I set up in the settings to be sent to my email. … but I need to see the form content as well!

thanks a lot for your help!!!

  • Hi,
Please check, did you enter the fields name in the content of send e-mail in settings form.

    Regards
    Mateusz

Im actually getting the same issue – Emails coming through from the contact form to my email like this –

    From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    Subject: [your-subject]

    Message Body:
    [your-message]

    --
This e-mail was sent from a contact form on xxx

Then the below is an example of the message body on the mail tab in a contact form –

    From: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    Subject: [your-subject]

    Message Body:
    [your-message]

    --
This e-mail was sent from a contact form on xxx

So its emailing me exactly what I have in the back end template, not the test message or reply email I entered into the form on the front end to test.
