Not grabbing Excerpt, instead content

    Great plugin! Great work

    I am using the shortcode in the website code, not in a post/page.

    The feed comes in, but grabs the image from the content.
    The excerpt is the content as well, not from the excerpt field.

    I want to use the Feature image from the site i am pulling the rss from. Yes I have verified there is a featured image.

    Do I need to do the settings in a certain way?

    first of all, that feed works fine as far as pulling the image as you can see here

    second, the featured image only works when you use feed to post. The featured image means that the image is downloaded to your server (just like uploading an image to your media library)..but again, this does not work with the shortcode.

    I added a widget area, and using the “smart blocks” plugin to display the shortcode as a “feed to post”.

    My shortcode looks like:
    [wp_rss_multi_importer category=”2″ maximgwidth=”150″ floattype=”left” hdsize=”14px” hdweight=”500″]

    It does not come through as your link shows.

    The image and content from the post is coming through, instead of the excerpt and featured image.

    I must be doing something wrong!

    for whatever reason the class was not kicking in to resize the image.. so i just added the css to the style sheet and the image resized.

    Ok..I’m not sure what smart blocks does that may conflict with the plugin…if you have it working the way you want…great.
