Not receiving contact form notification emails (Javascript issue)

    I’ve realised I am no longer receiving any contact form emails from my Elementor-built website. I haven’t changed anything on the site and the emails stopped at the end of July. I have tested it and nothing is coming through even though the form is submitting fine. I checked the form preview and am seeing this message in red above the form:

    Heads up! WPForms has detected an issue with JavaScript on this page. JavaScript is required for this form to work properly, so this form may not work as expected.

    I am using WPForms Lite and WP Mail SMTP. My theme is Ocean WP and I have Ocean Extra installed as well. I can see the footer file. Test emails are being sent but not delivered. PageOptimize is there as standard and I have tried deselecting the Javascript box, clearing cache, no change, enabling again, clear cache, still no change.

    Anything else I need to try or look for? Thank you

    Thanks for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear about the trouble.

    I’ve visited the form page and submitted a test entry. It redirected me after submission – https://a.supportally.com/i/bMeHDR. However, I do not see any confirmation message. Did you get any email notification for this entry?

    And, could you please take a screenshot of your form’s confirmation page and share it here so I can take a look?

    Heads up! WPForms has detected an issue with JavaScript on this page. JavaScript is required for this form to work properly, so this form may not work as expected.

    This warning typically occurs when either the theme or plugin has JavaScript minification enabled, causing browser validation to override form validation, which results in a JavaScript error message.
    Could you please follow the steps outlined here and see if that helps?

    Thanks for your response. I tried everything else to the best of my ability and nothing helped. Then I tried deactivating WP Mail SMTP and submitting the contact form and I received a notification! So that’s great. But does it mean I don’t need WP Mail SMTP or is it that the configuration suddenly wrong?

    Just to add, the mailer I use is Brevo.
