# Not recognizing CPT

 * Hi Joel,
    I have an unusual item.
 * I’m using Nooz (repository plugin) which creates CPTs for press releases and 
   news coverage.
 * When I activate Client Dash, it recognizes (sees) the CPT for press releases (
   All News, Add New Release, All Releases), but it’s not seeing the CPT for Adding
   News Coverage and All News Coverage. As soon as I turn Client Dash back off, 
   all the Admin Menu items for Nooz reappear.
 * Any ideas as to what may be occurring? I have a commercial theme (Divi by Elegant
   Themes) and these are my only 2 plugins. I’m also using a child theme for functions.
   php, but can’t determine a conflict causes by it. (This is a dev site I have 
   on my server.)

 * Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.
 * I tracked down the issue to that particular post type being registered as non-
   public. However, upon further investigation, it does seem that it would make 
   more sense to show this post type because it IS set to show in the admin menu.
 * I’m going to be modifying Client Dash in this way so that you WILL be able to
   see this menu item.
 * I will release an update for this soon, but for now, download and use this for
   Client Dash.

 * Delete Client Dash entirely from the website, and then install Client Dash by
   using this zip for the upload.
 * Let me know how this works out for you.
