Not showing on event posts?

Hi! I am trying to use Favorites on my website, and the buttons do show in posts. That’s great! However, they are not showing on events. Events are the same makeup of posts and are handled by The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe. I’d like to add the favorites button to these posts as well. Can I do that? Is there a way I can add a “favorite” button to a php script? If so, how? I can report the ID of the post, so if I need to add that to the function, that’s not a problem.
