• We have very poor results using Litespeed cache on our web server, we operate an agency with about 400 websites.

We pay a server licence fee for 2 x WHM servers, and literally get better results from using a default WP rocket installation, both in terms of Google Core Web Vitals, GT Metrix, as well as real life load speeds.

We are constantly having issues across lots of sites with Javascript not running, CSS breaking, random parts of sites disappearing and just general instability. Clearing the cache always fixes it, but why is it occurring?

We have NONE of these issues with WP rocket or w3 Total Cache.

I am sitting here trying to remember why we are using Litespeed and paying for it. I thought the “server level caching” was the point, but this doesnt seem to help in our case, and actually makes things worse and costs us money and reputation with out clients sites breaking all the time.

  • Reading this i cant belive it. In my case it is completely opposite situation.
In my agency we switching from Apache + WordPress + other wp cache plugins to LiteSpeed + WordPress + Redis + LS Cache plugin. And there is incredibly page performance boost we dont even expected.

In one on my production-ready project i got:
    – all Core Web Vitals passed
    – pagespeed score like 90 points on mobile and 100 points on desktop devices
    – GTmetrix A grade
    – real life DOMContentLoaded: 84 ms | Load: 94 ms

Maybe issue is not in Litespeed but in way you trying to integrate/configurate this in your projects?

I have good results using all your configurations, Pagespeed and GT metrix using litespeed are excellent, but my index page keeps breaking, the css randomly stop working. I am using QUIC CLOUD, CDN and the setting for CSS in litespeed: Generate UCSS= ON I am not sure if under the CSS tab, we should turn off a few options. Also I have this when I installed the litespeed plugin Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress. Could this be the issue??
