 * I switched from another lazy load plugin as this one allowed me to lazy load
   background images. It’s a bit of a nuisance having to add CSS to every page specifying
   the background images, but it works fine.
 * Three things would improve this plugin for me:
 * – something to make the background images process a little simple,
    – some way
   of making background video lazy load, – and a spinner, or something, to show
   users that the image is coming.
 * Thanks.

 * Thanks for your review and improvement suggestions! 🙂
 * I will write them down and see what I can do – at least the spinner should not
   be a big problem 🙂
 * Thanks again,
    Florian

 * I tried to add a loading spinner, but was not happy with the result (jumping
   position of the spinner after the dimensions of the image are known), so I did
   not include it into the 3.2.7 release. However, I created a small Gist that shows
   the CSS of my try: [https://gist.github.com/florianbrinkmann/937495c7b41df3c1600ef7d9c6e95a9e](https://gist.github.com/florianbrinkmann/937495c7b41df3c1600ef7d9c6e95a9e)
 * You can include it into the »Additional CSS« field in the Customizer (»Appearance«›»
   Customize«) and then you should see the spinner.
 * I will keep your other items in mind and try to improve it in future updates.
 * Thanks,
    Florian

 * Hi [@morphalex](https://wordpress.org/support/users/morphalex/),
 * just wanted to let you know that the next version of the plugin will contain
   a spinner option. Because of the lazysizes aspectratio plugin I included as an
   option in 3.2.9, the issue with the jumping position of the spinner is solved(
   if you want to give it a try before the final release, you can get a beta version
   here (the lazy-loading-responsive-images.zip): [https://github.com/florianbrinkmann/lazy-loading-responsive-images/releases/tag/v3.3.0-beta.1](https://github.com/florianbrinkmann/lazy-loading-responsive-images/releases/tag/v3.3.0-beta.1)).
 * Best regards,
    Florian
