# Notice "JAVA executable path was not found"

 * I’ve been trying to get the YUI minifier to work, but every time I fill in the
   paths I get to see the following error:
 * > JAVA executable (/usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0-openjdk.x86_64/bin/java) is not a valid
   > file.
 * I found my executable from my server like this:
    `update-alternatives --display
   java`
 * That gives me back the following:
 *     ```
       java - status is auto.
       link currently points to /usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0-openjdk.x86_64/bin/java
       /usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0-openjdk.x86_64/bin/java - priority 16000

 * Figuring the ‘best version’ is the one to use I try to use that one.
 * What’s still wrong here?
