Notification from deactivated plugin?

    Hello,
    i have installed the wordfence plugin, but deactivated. How can it be that it sends notification mails anyway? Thanks.

    Hi @harryman7,

    If the plugin is deactivated, none of the plugin-specific emails will be sent.

    If I may ask, is there a reason you need to have the plugin deactivated? If there’s a specific feature you don’t want to use, we may be able to help.

    Thank you! Sorry, that was a misunderstanding. A developer deactivated it right after the plugin has sent the message. i didn’t know that he was working on something. Sorry for the false alarm!
