   i have installed the wordfence plugin, but deactivated. How can it be 
   that it sends notification mails anyway? Thanks.Regards, Harry

 * If the plugin is deactivated, none of the plugin-specific emails will be sent.
 * If I may ask, is there a reason you need to have the plugin deactivated? If there’s
   a specific feature you don’t want to use, we may be able to help.

 * Thank you! Sorry, that was a misunderstanding. A developer deactivated it right
   after the plugin has sent the message. i didn’t know that he was working on something.
