# OAuth Authentication Failed…

 * Hi.
 * I am getting a failure on the updated plugin when trying to authenticate with
   Twitter:
 * > `OAuth Authentication Failed. Your server time is not in sync with the Twitter
   > servers. Talk to your hosting service to see what can be done.`
 * But the twitter time check on the plugin page says everything looks good:
 * > Your server time: Mon, 23-Apr-2018 14:40:38 UTC
   >  Twitter’s server time: Mon,
   > 23-Apr-2018 14:40:38 UTC
   > Your server timezone: UTC
   >  Your time stamp matches the Twitter server time
 * Also my hosting provider says the timestamp on my sever looks good as well.
 * I’ve put in the keys and access tokens several times, but it always fails with
   this message.

 * This is a bug caused by an extra ‘=’ sign in the connection code; I’m releasing
   an update shortly to fix the issue.
