OAuth token not available

Apparently new installs of this plugin will no longer work, as the link to get an OAuth Token only redirects to https://app.bitly.com/bitlinks/?actions=create even when already logged in to Bit.ly. A search of the Bit.ly site returns 0 results for oAuth. Is there any other way to get this plugin to work or should it now be considered a dead plugin?
