# Object Cache – High cpu after update

 * After updating, there was a high consumption of cpu.
 * Many processes towards the .php files of the page.
 * The problem was fixed after disabling the Object Cache option.
 * It may be a problem of the new version that I need a fix

 * I’ve tried many plugins for object cache and WP 4.7.1 seems to break them all.

 * Cpu? Do you use disk for caching object cache? It’s better to use a memory caching
   strategy like redis, apcu or memcache

 * Redis is the way to go, but I am afraid that the WP 4.7.1 update breaks all object
   caching plugins
