 * This is somewhat serious and somewhat of a curiosity question.
 * I’ve noticed that many bloggers use and/or recommend an offline blog editor, 
   such as Ecto, Windows Live Writer, or Blog Desk. From what I understand, these
   are basically just streamlined programs that you can use to write posts while
   you are offline and set to post later when you are online.
 * Have you ever used these or any other similar programs? What are your opinions
   of it? Do these programs make it easier/harder for you to maintain your blog?
   Do you recommend these programs?
