# Offline version preferred?

 * Hi. This plugin is really great! My only question is whether or not cached pages
   get preference over live pages. I’ve noticed that after turning off my internet
   connection pages load incredibly fast, but when connected it seems to take nearly
   as long as before the page was cached.

 * Thanks for using SuperPWA. Your observation is correct.
 * Right now if the network is available, we go network first so that the most updated
   content is displayed. It used to be a bit different in one of the earlier releases
   but users reported issues with stale content.
 * This feature to use cache first (and check for updates in the background or something
   similar) is in the roadmap for us and you can expect to see this soon in the 
   near future.
