# Offline wordpress installation

 * I installed my wordpress blog offline, following the instructions on
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Test_Driving_WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Test_Driving_WordPress)
   My site works fine, including my custom theme, except fot the plugins. The first
   time I login and go to the plugins page, they are deactivated, since it can’t
   find them. If I install a plugin from a zip file, it correctly installs to the
   default plugin directory. However, all the other plugins already in that directory
   are not seen. What can I do?
