 * Hello,
    I want to change my opengraph information, so I decided to download Yoast
   SEO. But when I change the logo of facebook opengraph it shows up on facebook
   correctly but on LinkedIn it will take the logo of another company mentioned
   on my page. Someone else in a facebook group said that yoast isn’t changing anything
   because the meta is still on og:image.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fogimage-doesnt-work%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hello Daanverzin
 * Thanks for reaching out regarding your `og:image`. Inspecting your page source,
   you are using another SEO plugin with the Yoast SEO. There are two `og:image`
   tags:
 * _[https://social-point.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/SocialPointLogoPNG.png](https://social-point.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/SocialPointLogoPNG.png)

   [https://social-point.nl/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/TGS.png](https://social-point.nl/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/TGS.png)
 * Since you have two plugins, it’s hard to control the output. You may consider
   deactivating the third-party SEO plugin and retaining only Yoast SEO. If the
   problem persists while using only our plugin, do reach out to us.

 * Hello,
    I did delete the other SEO plugin and only activated Yoast SEO. But the
   problem still remains the same. When I look into the codes. He said that the
   OG image is [https://social-point.nl/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/TGS.png](https://social-point.nl/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/TGS.png)
   but it has to be: [https://social-point.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/SocialPointLogoPNG.png](https://social-point.nl/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/SocialPointLogoPNG.png)
 * It looks like Yoast is the fault one, here. Because when I disable the other
   plugin and only enable yoast there is nothing changed. But when I disable Yoast
   and enable the other SEO plugin it is all good.
 * Settings of Yoast: [https://prnt.sc/1v5z8zo](https://prnt.sc/1v5z8zo)

   [https://prnt.sc/1v5zexk](https://prnt.sc/1v5zexk)
 * For now:
    I enabled Yoast and disabled the other seo plugin so you can have a
   good look.

 * Thanks for sharing all the information. First thing first, please disable the
   3rd party SEO plugin that you’re running alongside Yoast SEO which is conflicting
   with each other.
 * Once you disable the relevant 3rd party SEO plugin, you’ll need to go to edit
   the front page of your website and add the desired image for Facebook or Twitter
   directly from the Yoast SEO meta box → Social (tab) → Facebook or Twitter options.
   [How to add an image to a static front page?](https://yoast.com/help/custom-open-graph-tags/#posts)
 * Note: the logo you have added in SEO → Search Appearance → General (tab) is for
   the company and knowledge graph information, not for social media.
 * On the other hand, the image you have added in SEO → Social → Facebook (tab)
   is the default image that will be used when no image is specifically selected
   to a page using the Yoast SEO meta box → Social (tab) → Facebook options.
 * We hope that clears your confusion now.

 * Hello,
    Thanks for your help. But when I search for the preview tab in the side
   bar of my home page edit (Screenshot: [https://prnt.sc/1v6ed8m](https://prnt.sc/1v6ed8m))
   I don’t find Yoast SEO, I have the free edition. But where would that option
   stand?

 * Sidenote: I use elementor
    + I saw you have an elementor integration but I see
   no where an intergration or yoast ratings at my pages. Like I see only the settings
   menu. I fully deleted the other seo plugin. + I tried to reinstall yoast without
   any result Screenshot of elementor: [https://prnt.sc/1v6qz09](https://prnt.sc/1v6qz09)

 * Hi [@daanverzin](https://wordpress.org/support/users/daanverzin/)
 * We understand you aren’t seeing the Yoast SEO meta box when you edit your homepage,
   regardless if you are using the classic editor or the Elementor editor.
 * Would it be possible for you to check your settings under WP admin dashboard
   > SEO (sidebar) > Search Appearance > Content Types tab > Pages > and check if
   you have the option of ‘show SEO settings for Pages’ to ‘off’?
 * If so, please do set it to ‘on’, save the changes, and then you should be able
   to locate the Yoast SEO meta box (you may have to click on the prompt of ‘got
   it’ at the bottom when editing in Elementor before the Yoast SEO meta box appears).
   Could you then try and set the Facebook image in the social tab of the Yoast
   SEO meta box, and then see if you are getting the expected social preview – [https://yoast.com/help/how-to-use-yoast-seo-in-elementor/](https://yoast.com/help/how-to-use-yoast-seo-in-elementor/)
