 * OG:Images are incorrect for the home page. I’ve tried different things found
   in the forum to try and correct but nothing seems to work for me.
    Incorrect
   Domain listed: <meta property=”og:image” content=”[https://pixelled.com/pyca/wp-content/](https://pixelled.com/pyca/wp-content/)
   It should be: <meta property=”og:image” content=”[https://www.pycawnings.com/wp-content/uploads](https://www.pycawnings.com/wp-content/uploads)
 * How can I fix this?
 * thanks!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fogimage-incorrect%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Also, when viewing in FireFox vs Chrome and IE.
 * FireFox shows:
    <meta property=”og:image” content=”[https://www.pycawnings.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Porch-Roll-up-curtains.gif&#8221](https://www.pycawnings.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Porch-Roll-up-curtains.gif&#8221);/
   >
 * While Chrome and IE show:
    <meta property=”og:image” content=”[https://pixelled.com/pyca/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/porch-roller-curtains-1.gif&#8221](https://pixelled.com/pyca/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/porch-roller-curtains-1.gif&#8221);/

 * Hi [@ewe812](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ewe812/),
 * It is not normal for the og:image tag to be different per browser. One of your
   browsers must be showing the source from its cache, which would explain why they’re
   different. Please follow this guide to [clear the browser cache](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/#utm_source=support&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=support-link)(
   I believe FireFox is where you are seeing the cached version).
 * In regards to the og:image, I’ve inspected the homepage and I too found this
   URL: [https://pixelled.com/pyca/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/porch-roller-curtains-1.gif](https://pixelled.com/pyca/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/porch-roller-curtains-1.gif)
 * What is the image URL shown at SEO → Social → Facebook → Frontpage settings →
   Image URL? It should similar to [this image](https://i.imgur.com/xnCYHDv.jpg).
 * We are looking forward to hearing from you.

 * Hi MariusG,
 * Thank you very much for your reply, and assistance! This is driving me batty.
 * I’ve cleared cache for FF, but for some reason it won’t go away. I guess I’ll
   worry about that some other time, as it must be cached somehow.
 * Anyway, I went to the option you describe and the image URL is:
    [https://www.pycawnings.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Porch-Roll-up-curtains.gif](https://www.pycawnings.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Porch-Roll-up-curtains.gif)
 * Any more guidance or thoughts are very much appreciated!

 * Hi,
 * We can see in both Chrome and FF it is showing [https://pixelled.com/pyca/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/porch-roller-curtains-1.gif](https://pixelled.com/pyca/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/porch-roller-curtains-1.gif)
   as the image.
    See image for FF: [https://pasteboard.co/IxPvfAN.png](https://pasteboard.co/IxPvfAN.png)
   and for Chrome: [https://pasteboard.co/IxPvmQb.png](https://pasteboard.co/IxPvmQb.png).
 * That og:image goes to a 404. We understand you want it to be [https://www.pycawnings.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Porch-Roll-up-curtains.gif](https://www.pycawnings.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Porch-Roll-up-curtains.gif).
 * Based on what you described we would expect that to be outputted. We would like
   some more information.
 * 1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v12.1? If you update,
   does the issue resolve?
 * 2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?
 * 3. Does clearing ALL your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare
   or browser resolve the issue? If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/
   plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server,
   please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this
   guide: [https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/](https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/).

 * Hi Pcosta88,
 * Well! I didn’t see there was an update for Yoast when I previously looked. But
   now there is. I just now updated and it works! Woo Hoo! Thank you much for the
   suggestion! All is okay now.
