# OK, overly complicated & lacking sync functionality

 * It’s ok. 
   **Very versatile however lacks important features such as 2 way synchronization
   with Google/Microsoft calendars.** The advertised “sync” functionality is basically
   just an import export facility which can be semi automated through CRON, so the
   plugin does not actually utilize Google or Microsoft APIs for proper calendar
   synchronization.
 * **Extremely complicated and laborious to configure and tailor to each use case**.
   **
   The documentation is severely lacking** and unfortunately communication with 
   support is poor because English is not their first language. **The rendering 
   of calendar & booking forms looks like it was designed in the mid 1990s**, so
   not half as pretty as other alternate plugins and it has **poor responsiveness
   to screen sizes**. Very little in terms of customization here. Also seems to 
   be **a lot more expensive than equivalent plugins & only offers updates for 6months**.
   This plugin is also full of typos and spelling mistakes.

 * Thank you for your feedback.
    - The plugin has a lot of features, and because of that, some configurations
      can take time during the initial setup. We understand that the initial setup
      can take some time due to its extensive capabilities. To make this easier,
      we’re working on an update that will introduce a step-by-step wizard for easier
      initial configuration.
    - Please note, the front-end side of the plugin is fully configurable in the
      paid versions. In the free version, you can configure the appearance of form
      fields and labels. You may have been confused by some older calendar skins
      included with the Booking Calendar. We will add a legacy warning to clarify
      which calendar skins are new and which are older legacy skins. Additionally,
      it is possible to create your own calendar skins via CSS, as explained on 
      the plugin FAQ page.
    - We are also planning to improve the import/export process in future updates
      to work more smoothly with external services.
