Is your site currently hosted on WordPress.COM?
If moving from WordPress.COM – see:

If your current site is self-hosted and you are moving to another self-hosted provider, see:

Yes. The site is currently hosted with WordPress.com. My desire is to change the hosting solution to powweb.com.
I will read the information from the links you provided. Hopefully it answers the question.
Thank you.
Regrettably those links did not provide the answer for changing from hosting on WordPress.com to a completely different hosting solution. So, I’m still in need of an answer for dummies. 🙂
Thanks
The easy way to move from .COM is to pay for a guided transfer:

On .COM, no you cannot do what you are asking because you do not have FTP access to the site. You can only export your content. For additional questions about a .COM site, you can ask on their forums here:

Ok. Maybe I’m not making this clear. I don’t want a .org hosting solution. I don’t want to stay with .com either. I want to move the entire site to Powweb. I’m beginning to think it might be easier to just recreate the entire site from ground up. Is there anyway to move my site from WordPress to Powweb?
Thanks
If your site is currently on WordPress.COM you can either pay to have it moved (see above) or you can export the content (see above).
For WordPress.COM support, please use their forums:
http://en.forums.wordpress.com/
These forums are not the support for WP.COM sites.
BTW, there is no such thing as a .ORG hosting solution. .ORG only provides software and support for self-hosted WP sites. Once your site is self-hosted, we’d be happy to help you.
