One post – two categories – breadcrumbs

Hello,

Here’s my problem : I got Post A in Category X and Y and the main category is X.

Right now, if the user join Post A from the url : site.org/Category_X/Post_A or site.org/Category_Y/Post_A, it’ll always shows Home > Category_X > Post_A.

Is there a way to fix that ?

When you say Category X is the main category, does that mean you’ve set it as a Primary category as explained here? If so you’re expected to get Category X on the breadcrumb path. Whichever category you set as Primary will appear on the breadcrumb path.

thanks for your message.

I would like the breadcrumb to show the path taken by the user to reach a specific post instead of showing the Primary Category.

Some older posts mention solutions with custom codes but it seems related to Woocommerce which I do not use.

To be much clearer, I would like the breadcrumb to show the path “Home >> Polygon >> Paçoca” on https://fruipto.org/polygon/pacoca/ and “Home >> Binance Smart Chain >> Paçoca” on https://fruipto.org/bsc/pacoca/

Is there any recent solution to fix that ?
