 * Hey hey… this is great! I do have a quick question though. Can members of the
   site not join a team unless an admin goes in and assigns them there?

 * By default, SportsPress requires an administrator to manually create player profiles
   and assign them to teams through the WordPress admin dashboard. Members cannot
   join teams on their own through the frontend.
 * If you need players to self-register and join teams automatically, you would 
   need to implement custom functionality using hooks and possibly create a frontend
   form. This would require some custom development work or a plugin that extends
   SportsPress functionality.
 * For extensive customization like this, I’d recommend hiring a developer through
   platforms like jobs.wordpress.net or upwork.com to create a solution tailored
   to your needs.
