Hi there, spent quite some hours with a seemingly complicated (or silly) question. Many ideas, couldn´t find any completely satisfying solution.

I´m wondering if i can exclusively, for any kinds of login/account creation/password reset/etc, use the standard woocommerce login (…) instead of wp-login? … and if i could achieve this with WPS hide login.

aggravating is the fact, that i´m using wpml and the WC login slug changes according to the language.

Before installing a new plugin, any answers are highly appreciated.

    Hello,

As far I remember, the account page in Woocommerce is public whereas WPS Hide Login is planned to keep the slug secret.

    Hi Maxime,

You are absolutely right, the WC login is public. We use different front-end plugins. For example Wpforo (forum), Geodirectories (events and places) and Woocommerce. All plugins have their own login page or use wp-login.php. This is a very mixed experience, because the user can “use all plugins with any one of those logins” in the front-end. The login | open account | password reset of woocommerce is the most visually appealing login and can be redirected to the previous page in functions.php, after login. I am trying to redirect all Logins to the WC login page.

wp-login.php seems to have various features that makes this difficult (in order not to end up on wp-login.php again after entering an error, for example). I thought that your plugin may meet the functional requirements for this idea and I can “misuse” it 😉

    best

    Hello,

Ah, I don’t think so because WPS Hide Login rewrites wp-login.php slug. Then, if you rename it to “my-account” for example, yoursite.com/my-account will redirect to WP login page and not to Woocommerce account page.
