Hi,
We understand that when you press the SEO Data button it outputs that statement. We would like some more information.
1. Can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.5.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.
2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?
3. We had another recent release. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v15.1.1? If you update, does the issue resolve?
4. If you check for JavaScript errors do any appear on that page in the backend? Can you describe them or take a screenshot? If you are not sure how to look for JavaScript errors please use this guide https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/.
You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.
We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
1. 5.5.3
2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated? Yes. They are all up to date!
3. 15.2.1

Does it continue from where it’s left? Cuz there is no information regarding this either…
I have 64 GB of RAM. It has nothing to o with RAM.
Hi @cool_recep,
Can do a test to see if this still happens if you deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
We recommend doing this on a staging site or using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
We have a step-by-step guide here: How to check for plugin conflicts.
@kingceh, Thanks for letting us know that checking for conflicts worked for you.
@fathallafa, @joshsterling, @mohammad983 If you’re seeing a similar issue, we’d like you to create a new forum topic if you’d like us to troubleshoot this issue for your specific site.
Priscilla Hi,
I’m getting supoprt via mail ATM. And yes, I did deactivated all non-Yoast plugins and switched to a standard theme but the issue persisted.
Hi everyone,
You can find a guide to troubleshooting the “Oops Something Went Wrong” error message here: SEO data optimization does not complete successfully.
@cool_recep, If you can confirm that your server meets the plugin minimum requirements, there may be something blocking or limiting the REST API. We recommend checking with your host.
If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
@richardaucock, @adamnz, @koolpal, @maginem, If you’re seeing a similar issue, we’d like you to create a new forum topic if you’d like us to troubleshoot this issue for your specific site.
If you’re using the premium plugin, you’re welcome to contact our support team directly.
Moderator note:
Att everyone on this topic: If you need support then per the forum guidelines please start your own topic.
A lot more people will see your post, and that way you stand a good chance of getting the assistance you want. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-have-the-same-problem-can-i-just-reply-to-someone-elses-post-with-me-too
and: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/guidelines/#post-in-the-best-place
You can do so here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/#new-post
Thanks.
